Introduction

Although St Paul’s is temporarily closed, the daily services and music continue to be broadcast live, meaning that you can join in worship with the Cathedral community and thousands of people across the globe.

11am

You’ll find the service in English, led by the Dean and usually including a sermon. You will sit in the nave (nearly every seat is a bench) and there are no reserved seats so you can sit anywhere, though you should try to make sure that you are sitting with other people around you rather than alone if possible. The service includes hymns and ends with an often lively blessing before congregation disperses into their separate lives once again.

Today’s Service Live

St Paul’s Live is a live streaming service from St Paul’s Cathedral in London, England. It includes the daily services broadcast from the cathedral, along with special events and broadcasts from different locations around the world. Through this website you can also watch archived video content from past services and events.

1pm

1pm Service

The service is led by the Dean of St Paul’s, and broadcast from our Chapel of St Michael and St George. It lasts about an hour.

Evensong Live

Evensong is a choral service of praise and thanksgiving to God. It is usually sung by the choir with no organ accompaniment, though it can be accompanied by an organ or other instruments. The service may include hymns, readings from scripture, prayers for special intentions (for example, for those who are ill or travelling), and responses.

This service is part of the Daily Offices of the Church of England: Morning Prayer and Evening Prayer together make up one complete daily office which takes place between 6am and 9pm each day in the Anglican calendar.

5pm

5pm: Service of Eucharist

  • the service of the eucharist is a divinely ordained means of grace, whereby the Lord Jesus Christ offers to his heavenly Father the merits won by his death and resurrection as spiritual gifts. These gifts are offered in union with the sacrifice on Calvary and are offered as an expression of our faith and love toward God.

6pm: Service of Praise, Prayer and Intercession (Songs)

  • this service includes songs that focus on praise, prayer, intercession for world peace and justice, healing the earth from pollution to make it clean again. Songs during this service may include “Let there be Peace on Earth” by John Lennon & Yoko Ono; “We Are One Body” by Sam Cooke; “Stand By Me” by Ben E King; “How Great Thou Art”(traditional Swedish hymn); “Amazing Grace”(traditional English hymn); “One Love/People Get Ready”(Bob Marley).

The Perennial Eucharist

The Perennial Eucharist is a service of the Church of England. It’s held every Sunday, in both morning and evening versions, and is based on the Book of Common Prayer. The service can be attended by all people regardless of denominational affiliation or religious background, with an emphasis on quiet contemplation and prayer rather than a sermon or music. The main part of the service is held in St Paul’s Church itself (rather than being led by members of some other congregation), but there are also services held at Westminster Cathedral Hall each month; these are open to anyone who wants to attend them.

8am

The service is in the form of a traditional church service, and includes hymns, prayers and readings. People gather at 8am for this service.

The music for this service is provided by our own choir and organist – it’s a very special occasion when we have our organist play in person!

A Quiet Celebration of the Holy Eucharist

The Church of St Paul is a place to be yourself, and come together as the community we are. We offer a variety of services that can accommodate people who have different preferences for their church experience. At St Paul’s you can expect:

  • Quiet celebration – our focus is on God and His word, rather than ourselves.A reflective service – this means that we use silence, meditative music and a lot of prayer in order to create space for reflection on what it means to live faithfully as followers of Christ in today’s world; we also like to include readings from other faith traditions! An intimate experience – smaller groups mean more opportunities for worshipers to share their stories with those around them during the service; you will have time after each part of the liturgy (election readings/hymns) when everyone sits down before being asked if there is anyone who would like share something personal before moving on with the next part of the eucharist (offering).

St. Paul’s Church is located in Baguio City, Philippines. It was built by the Americans in 1912 and is one of the oldest churches in Baguio. The church holds services every Sunday at 8am, 10am and 5pm with a Confirmation class held during Saturday evenings at 7:30pm

The church has been restored to its original condition by Father Crispin Villanueva and his team of volunteers who work tirelessly to preserve this beautiful landmark. It has also become an important tourist attraction for visitors from all over the world who come here every year to take pictures or simply admire its architecture from afar as well as those who have known this place as part of their childhood memories because it was their first stop whenever they went out on Saturday nights with friends after playing basketball at Ateneo’s court nearby (or just hanging out).
