Prayer To The Soul

Prayer is one of the most important ways to connect your soul to God. Prayer allows a person to connect with their inner self and discover things about themselves that they’ve never known before. There is no simpler way to get in touch with your inner self than through prayer.

You can also use this prayer to purify any negative environment, including your home and work environment, your car or transport, or travel by air – for people who travel a lot. But you can do this anytime and anywhere you feel the need to purify yourself during or after an unpleasant event.

Your soul is the most beautiful thing in the universe. I am a strong believer that we can understand our modern soul and my mission is to create a community of people who are willing to understand how your soul works. You were created with one purpose only, which is to make a difference in this world.

Prayer to the Soul is a powerful dedication prayer which relieves anxiety, stress and mental suffering by helping you let go of your worries, feelings and emotions.

Prayer To The Soul

Praying for the souls in Purgatory is one of the Spiritual Works of Mercy.  These souls long for God but they need to be purified of their sins before they can enter Heaven.  It is us, those on earth, who can pray for these souls.   The dead need our prayers.  It does not matter when a person died, recently or long ago in the past.  Our prayers always help the dead.

As Catholics, we believe in the Communion Saints – those in Heaven, those in Purgatory, and those on Earth.  All three groups are connected.  The ones on earth have a responsibility and an obligation to pray for one another and for those in Purgatory.  The Saints in Heaven are role models and intercessors for those on earth.

Prayer To The Soul

John 16:33
Dear Lord, Your Word says that the peace that I seek can be found in You. Right now, heavenly Father the pressures of life and countless tribulations make me feel defeated. But because of You I can be of good cheer because You have overcome the world. Thank You Father for sending Your son to overcome it all for me and by this I declare calming of my soul, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Matthew 11:28
Heavenly Father, I come to You because I am weary and heavily burdened, but in You I know there is rest. I thank You for being compassionate enough to willingly take my burdens and replace them with a lighter one. Father I choose to follow You as I know that You are the giver of a renewed and blessed soul; So, I thank You Lord, for the renewing of my soul, Amen.

Psalms 23:1-4
Dear Lord, I am grateful that You are my good shepherd who gives me so much that I could never want anything else. I thank You for calming my soul and for guiding me to peace even when I find myself in the darkest valley. But I declare, that in darkness Your rod and staff comfort me so I will fear no evil. Instead I rejoice in the peace that You have given me; thank You Lord, Amen.

Psalms 94:17, 19
Oh Lord my God, if it had not been for Your divine help, I would not be here so I give you thanks. I bless You for hearing me when I fall and providing support through Your unfailing love. I pray that in the multitude of anxieties within me, “Your comforts delight my soul.” I pray that Your comfort gives me renewed hope, joy, peace and cheer; in You I trust, Amen.

Colossians 3:15
Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word that reminds me that Your peace is the governing factor in my heart. I pray that all disputes or decisions that arise are settled by Your eternal peace. So for this reason, I bless You always for the peace that You have placed in my soul and I pray that I will think on these things, knowing that I am called to live in peace through You, Amen.

Jude 1:2, Psalm 107:29
Oh God, thank You for Your divine love and care over my life. I declare Your Word that mercy, peace and love is multiplied to me. I declare that just as you calmed the sea, You will calm my soul with the peace of God. Therefore, because of You, I can endure trials with the joy of You in my heart. Lord, I thank You for this joy, Amen.

Philippians 4:7
Dear Lord, I pray against the plans of the enemy who wants me to feel spiritually unsettled and emotionally bound and broken. I pray that Your peace, which transcends all understanding, will guard my heart and my mind, in Jesus Name. Let my soul remain calm I pray, even when I face unexpected circumstances because I know that it is in You that I find strength and comfort; thank You Lord, Amen.
