Prayer To The Blessed Trinity

Prayer to the Blessed Trinity is a prayer addressed to the three persons of the one Godhead. Traditionally it is recited immediately after the Creed

For as long as anyone can remember, you’ve had a desire to go to seminary. In fact, you can still remember the moment when that realization hit you. For you were at work, opening up a patient for surgery and came across the perfect verse from 1 Corinthians 10:2. “And were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea.” As you read the words, a voice started speaking to your heart about how God had been preparing for this for some time now.

Extraordinary Lord, God and Creator of all things, head of the mystical body of Christ, and leader in the fight against nightmares and bad dreams, we humbly ask for your assistance regarding our common enemy, the nightmare.

My lord and my God, I feel the need to seek your presence and guidance. Please help me in troubling times as I seek to uphold your will on Earth as it is Heaven. I humbly ask you to send your Holy Spirit of Wisdom to guide me every step of the way

Prayer To The Blessed Trinity

The Father is my hope.
The Son is my refuge.
The Holy Spirit is my protector.
Glory to the holy and undivided Trinity,
now and forever.

Let us praise the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit;
let us bless and exalt God above all forever!

Almighty and everlasting God,
to whom we owe the grace of professing the true faith,
grant that while acknowledging the glory
of the eternal Trinity and adoring its unity,
we may through Your majestic power
be confirmed in this faith
and defended against all adversities;
through Jesus Christ our Lord,
who lives and reigns with You
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever.

Amen.

Prayer To The Blessed Trinity

I believe  in you,
I hope in you,
I love you,
And I adore you,
O Blessed Trinity, one God;
have mercy on me now
and at the hour of my death
and save me. Amen.

TRISAGION

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us.

Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One,
have mercy on us.

O SANCTISSIMA

O most Holy Trinity,
I adore you
who dwell by your grace in my soul.
Sanctify me more and more,
make me love you more and more,
abide with me evermore
and be my true joy. Amen.

OMNIPOTENTIA PATRIS

O Omnipotence of the Father,
help my frailty
and save me from the depths of misery.

O Wisdom of the Son,
direct all my thoughts,
my words, and my deeds.

O Love of the Holy Spirit,
be the source of all the actions of my mind,
that they may always be conformed
to God’s good pleasure. Amen.

AN ACT OF PRAISE

I praise you, Father all-powerful.
I praise you, Divine Son, our Lord and Savior.
I praise you, Spirit of Love and Consolation.
One God, three Persons, Triune Unity,
be near me in the temple of my soul.
Draw me to share in your life and love.
In your kindness
grant to me and to my family
the riches of your mercy,
and a share in your blessing,
that we may come to the glory of your Kingdom
and rejoice in loving you for all eternity. Amen.

AN ACT OF OBLATION
By St. Francis de Sales

I vow and consecrate to God
all that is in me:
my memory and my actions to God the Father;
my understanding and my words to God the Son;
my will and my thoughts to God the Holy Spirit.

I consecrate my heart, my body,
my tongue, my senses and all my sorrows
to the sacred Humanity of Jesus Christ,
who consented to be betrayed
into the hands of wicked men
and to suffer the torment of the Cross for me.

A PRAYER OF SURRENDER TO THE DIVINE WILL

Most holy Trinity, Godhead indivisible,
 Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
our first beginning and our last end,
you have made us in accord with your own image and likeness.

Grant that all the thoughts of our minds,
all the words of our tongues,
all the affections of our hearts,
and all the actions of our being
may always be conformed to your holy Will.

So may we, having seen you veiled in appearance here below
by means of faith,
come at last to contemplate you face-to-face,
in the perfect possession of you forever in heaven. Amen.

A PRAYER OF THE CHALDEAN TRADITION

Before the tremendous throne of your majesty,
at the exalted place of your divinity,
the majestic seat of your glory
and the sublime throne of your sovereignty
where your servants the Cherubim continuously sing hymns
and where your glorifiers the Seraphim sing unceasingly the “Sanctus,”
we bow down with fear
adore with trembling,
give thanks, and glorify you without ceasing,
at all times, O Lord of the universe,
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
for all ages.

ANOTHER PRAYER OF THE CHALDEAN TRADITION

When the essence of the sweetness of your love, O Lord our God,
will make itself felt in us,
and when our souls will be enlightened by the knowledge of your truth,
then will we be worthy to go forth  to meet your beloved Son
as he comes from heaven,
and there render thanks and glorify you unceasingly
in your victorious Church,
full of help and happiness,
because you are the Lord and Creator of everything,
through all ages.

For all the help and the incomprehensible graces
that you have granted
we give you thanks and we glorify you unceasingly
in your victorious Church, full of every help and happiness
because you are Lord and Creator of everything,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
through all ages.
