Prayer To Say Sorry To God

If you want a perfect life, you can’t be perfect. But that’s alright. Because God loves us even if we’re not perfect. Therefore it is important to believe in God because this makes our prayers more meaningful and effective. My prayer to say sorry to God should be your first prayer after the confession of sins.

If you are looking for anything special in your life, which is impossible without God’s blessings on you, then you have to have faith and must have patience. Prayer To Say Sorry To God is a very good option to make your wish come true.

I have so much to apologize for. To God, to my family, to my friends and even to myself. When I don’t follow the righteous path, I do things that I’m not that proud of, and it makes me feel bad about myself. But you see God, when we stray from the path, we are left with naught but shame. You see Lord, I know I’ve strayed far from your light over the years. And therefore I pray to say sorry to god for these transgressions.

Prayer To Say Sorry To God Let me start by saying i am Sorry Lord and I ask for Your forgiveness. I promise to be better in future. You are worthy of all glory and honor, and I give You thanks. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.”

Prayer To Say Sorry To God

Lord, please forgive me for what I have done to you. I offer up this forgiveness prayer in hopes that you will look at my mistakes and know that I did not mean to hurt you. I know you know I’m not perfect. I know that what I did went against you, but I hope that you will forgive me, just as you forgive others like me.

I will try, Lord, to change. I will make every attempt to not give into temptation again. I know that you are the most important thing in my life, Lord, and I know that what I did was disappointing.

I ask, God, that you provide me with guidance in the future. I ask for the discerning ear and open heart to hear and feel what you are telling me to do. I pray that I will have the understanding to remember this time and that you give me the strength to go in a different direction.

Lord, thank you for all you do for me. I pray that you pour your grace upon me.

In your name, Amen.

Prayer To Say Sorry To God

Lord, I come before you right now asking for forgiveness for my sins. I praise you for sending Jesus as an atoning sacrifice for my sins, so that I may experience forgiveness and reconciliation through Christ. Your Word says that if I confess my sins to you, you are faithful and just and will cleanse me from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).

Just like David, my sins have been stained in scarlet–but you have washed my sins away and made me whiter than snow (Psalm 51:7). Create in me a clean heart Lord, and renew a right spirit within me that seeks to serve and honor you. Amen.

How can we Forgive Others?

There are times when it seems virtually impossible to forgive those who have hurt us. Even when we do attempt to reconcile and forgive others, the pain from our wounded hearts takes time to heal–and some relationships are never the same. How can we genuinely forgive those who have hurt us? This is definitely not something we can do in our own strength.

Thankfully, we have the power of the Holy Spirit who gives us everything we need to live a life of love, grace and godliness (2 Peter 1:3).

We certainly don’t want to live our lives filled with anger and bitterness like the parable of the unforgiving servant, who refused to forgive one of his servants after he was granted pardon for his great debt by his master. The best way we can live our lives free from the poisonous root of bitterness and unforgiveness is to live in complete surrender to God

Remember when Jesus was on the cross? In the midst of his agony and pain, he managed to utter these powerful words regarding his offenders:

Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.”

Luke 23:34

The same power that raised Jesus from the grave lives within us–and through the grace and power of God, we too can forgive those who have hurt us.

A Prayer of Forgiveness for Others

Lord, please help me to forgive those who have hurt me and have sinned against me. Through the power of your Holy Spirit, I can choose to live free of bitterness and anger over what others have done to me.

Help me to release them into your hands, and heal the wounds of my heart. Because you have forgiven me, I can make the choice to forgive others and live in peace, joy and freedom. Amen.

How to Forgive Yourself

Have you ever beaten yourself up for something you have done? Once you have asked God to forgive you for the wrong you have done, you don’t have to continue to replay that situation in your mind and live in defeat. Once you have asked for forgiveness, it is done!

I just love the passage in Psalm 103:11-12 that says it so beautifully,

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

Praise the Lord that he has removed our sins from us forever! God is not a forgetful God–but he chooses to forget our sins.

“For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more.”

Hebrews 8:12

If God chooses to not remember our sins, then why do we constantly remind ourselves of them? There is NO condemnation for those who are in Christ (Romans 8:1). We serve a forgiving God, and we can walk in true freedom and forgiveness each day!
