With the economy still in havoc and job security looking less and less certain for most of us, many people find themselves unemployed. But this is not all bad. Unemployment can be a time to reflect on where your life is going and get your priorities straight. Prayer is one way you can approach the situation and let go off your stress knowing that a higher entity will guide you to success no matter how long it takes. When you are unemployed and longing for a job, this prayer can be one way to help you feel hope and trust in God. Jesus gave us this model prayer for praying about needs (Matthew 6:10). It starts with two requests for kingdom principles: acknowledging the Father’s name and claiming the right to draw near. In the following phrases, there are three requests for basic needs: clothing, food, and healing. This will give you a starting point in praying these prayers. If a request is relevant to your situation, use it; if not, substitute your own request. This article gives you all the prayers for unemployed that are mentioned in books and related to this category. The benefit of religious services has been acknowledged from times immemorial. catholic miracle prayer to get a job
Lord, help us to remember that work in industry is the principal way in which we provide for our material needs and the needs of others, and helps to maintain our social services and leisure; that work is for people, not people for work; that money, machines and materials are things, while workers, suppliers and customers are people; that in our type of society, those who cannot find work feel their dignity is diminished; that life is more than work.
So let us pray for those who seek work but cannot find it; for those who over-work and neglect others; for those who should work but avoid it; for those who do work but resent it; for those who exploit work and demean it; for efficient production, honest marketing and responsible use of resources; for more justice in the sharing of this world’s goods in our own community and between nations; for the unemployed, their families, and other victims of economic forces; for all Christians at work, that they may look on their employment as ministry, and feel supported in it by their local church; for the whole world, as it faces the challenge of change and the impact of new technologies.

In the Lord’s Prayer, Jesus first turns His followers’ eyes to worship, as we exalt Father God for who He is and what He has done. He is Almighty God, Sovereign Lord, King of all creation.
He is the one who loved you so much He sent His only Son to live among us and die on the cross for us. All who have confessed, repented, and trusted in Christ and Christ alone are members of His family, the body of Christ. We are His children, and He is our Father. Praise God!
Prayer Prompts:
Thank God for who He is, what He does and is doing, and what He will do.
Tell God how grateful you are for His work in your life.

Prayer for God’s Kingdom, God’s Will:
“Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”
God’s kingdom is the realm of His rule. His rule in heaven is perfect and pervasive, and we pray that it will become so in our sin-affected society as well. We pray that the realm of His rule is pervasive in our own lives, then through us and around us, and then beyond us.
Since God is sovereign over all creation, He is sovereign over this situation as well. Remember, this is His commitment to you: “For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them” (Ephesians 2:10). God knows the path you have been on and He has “good works” yet for you to do.
Praying “Your kingdom come your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” reflects just how much you trust God to sovereignly work in and through you for His glory and your good.
Prayer Prompts:
Confess any times you’ve “tried it on your own,” trusting in your own efforts rather than in His sovereign plan.
Invite the “realm of His rule” to permeate your life at the heart level, right down to your thoughts and motives.
Ask God to reveal His will for you today, telling Him you are committed to His will and way. You’ve tried it on your own; you’re committed to letting “Jesus take the wheel.”
