Lord, we pray for the persecuted church.

We pray that you would protect those who have been forced to flee their homes and live in refugee camps because of violent persecution. We pray that you would not allow them to be forgotten or left behind as a result of their suffering. We ask that you would give them strength to endure through this difficult time, and show them how much you love them by providing what they need to continue serving others even when it seems like all hope is lost. Forgive us for our own sins against others, especially those who do not know You yet. May we use this time of persecution to grow closer to each other as family members in Christ, so that when persecution ends we will be ready to share Him with others who have never heard His name before now.
