Wedding Prayers From The Bible

Dear Lord,

Thank you for this holiday season. We are grateful for all the blessings we have received and for the opportunity to serve our community through your guidance.

Please help us to take time to enjoy the moments of this season with friends and family. Help us to be mindful of the needs of those around us and to give generously of our time and resources to those who might be struggling.

This holiday season, we kindly ask that you keep our loved ones safe from danger and disease. We kindly ask that you help them find comfort in knowing that you are there for them during this trying time in their lives. We are assembled here today to honor Christ’s love.

We gather to share our happiness and sorrow, to honor the memory of those who have departed, and to anticipate the future

We come together to share our joy and our sorrow, to remember those who have passed, and to look forward to the future.

May we be reminded that Christ was born for us, and came among us as a child. He lived a full life on earth, giving himself for others. He died for our sins so that we might live with him forever.

May we always be aware of how Christ lived in community. He spent time with them, showed them his love, and imparted his knowledge to them. This Christmas, we should go out of our way to find someone to spend time with in fellowship and celebration of the birth of our Lord.

May we be reminded that Christ rose from the dead! He defeated death so that we might also rise from death into eternal life with him when our appointed time comes around again next year or the year after that or whenever God sees fit for us all together again as one family forevermore!

Let us pray: Oh Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior of all mankind; We thank you for coming into this world as one of us; For dying on the cross at Calvary; For rising

Dear God,

Thank you for the gift of this season. Thank you for the joy and love that is shared between family and friends. Thank you for giving us a chance to reflect on all that we have been given this year. And thank you for bringing us together to share this time with those who mean the most to us.

We pray that in all of our lives, we may find peace and harmony. We pray for those who are suffering from illness or injury, or who are grieving the loss of a loved one. We pray that they may find comfort in their faith and strength from their families during these difficult times.

We pray for all those who are struggling to find work or housing, or whose homes have been destroyed by natural disasters like hurricanes or wildfires. We pray that they will be able to rebuild their lives and find hope in their communities despite these hardships.

And finally, we pray for those who are feeling lonely or afraid because they do not have enough money to provide for their families during this holiday season–we ask that you would provide them with your grace and mercy so that they can celebrate Christmas with joy even though they may be struggling financially right now!

We have come together as a family to celebrate the birth of your son, Jesus Christ. We offer our thanks for your infinite love and mercy, which we have experienced throughout this year.

May we continue to put our faith in you, and may we live our lives according to the example set by your son. May we treat others with compassion and kindness, and may we always strive for peace.

In celebration of this holy time, may you bless us with good health, joy, and prosperity in all that we do. Amen

Dear Jesus,

Thank you for this season’s gift. We are appreciative of the opportunity to spend time with loved ones such as family and friends. During this time of year, we pray for people who are ill and those who are alone. Please remind us that we are all dependent on one another. Please give us the fortitude to assist others at this hectic time while also remembering to take care of ourselves.

We pray for those who do not believe in your love or have never heard about it. May they find their way to you as we share your story with them. Give us patience as we wait for them to receive your love, wisdom as we guide them through their doubts, and courage as we share our faith with others in order to build up their trust in you.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior of the world: Have mercy on us! Lord have mercy!”

God, we thank you for this season. We thank you for the opportunity to gather together with our families and friends to celebrate the birth of your son, Jesus Christ. We pray that as we celebrate his birth and all that he means to us, we also remember those who are unable to be with their loved ones during these celebrations. May they find peace and comfort in knowing that their loved ones are with you.

We ask that you bless the food on our tables, and bless the hands that prepared it. We ask that you keep those who are sick or hurting in your tender care, and may they be healed if they are sick or hurt. May all our hearts be filled with joy during this season, and may we have a great time celebrating with one another!

In Jesus’ name, Amen

Christ is born, let earth rejoice!

Let angels sing, let earth rejoice!

Let men their songs employ;

Christ is born to save us all.

We hail the power of the Lord.

We hail the power of the Lord.
