Short Prayer For Spring

Dear God,

Prayer For Spring Catholic.

We are appreciative of the splendor of springtime. We give you praise for creating the rainbows, sunsets, and flowers that we see all around us. We pray that your presence and affection continue to be a blessing in our world.

We ask that you keep a special eye on those who are struggling in this time of change. Help them to remember that they are not alone, that there is always someone willing to help them through their struggles.

And Lord God, we ask that you grant us serenity by giving us the patience and understanding we need to deal with the difficulties brought on by the change of the seasons. Give us courage when it comes to deciding what has to be done to get ready for winter or springtime weather changes. Help us create routines that will keep us healthy during these times of season change, whether it’s through eating more vegetables, starting an exercise program at home, or going on family walks during lunch breaks from school/work schedules.

Dear God:

Spring is a symbol of transformation. We look forward to certain changes and loathe others. We anticipate some changes, but other changes just happen. We beg for the gift of Your viewpoint, which invites us to hope, expectancy, and rebirth in response to all these changes.

May the sunlight and the rain be reminders that You are at work renewing the earth. As a God of renewal, You are ever at work in our lives, too.

Open our eyes and lives to the needed changes in our lives this Spring. Awaken us to new life and perspective, for we pray in Jesus’ name.
