Prayer For Sick Child Bible Verse

James 5:15–16 says, “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.”The Bible shows us a great deal of comfort as we grieve with those who mourn. However, there is a lot of comfort we can give them by showing them the truths in God’s Word. That comfort comes from knowing when they are reading those verses, God is speaking directly to them in their time of grief and sorrow.

It is in this that we can see the great love God has for us. How does he love us? Even when we run, God pursues us with his mercy and His grace. This Bible verse about prayer for sick child shows us that Jesus was bold and determined to pursue us, even though He knew what kind of person we were; He knew how determined we were in our decisions to reject Him. We need to be more like him so that when people run from Him, it will not be difficult for us to chase after them. Prayer For Sick Child Bible Verse

“Then the Lord said, “I will remove from Judah the one who offers the blood of his sacrifices and the fat of his peace offerings, and I will set My face against that man and make him an object of scorn and horror. And on account of the sins of Manasseh, son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, who did what was evil in My sight and followed wicked practices, I will remove Judah from among My people Israel. And as for you, go to your home. When your days are fulfilled and you are laid down with your fathers, I will raise up your son to succeed you, who will come from your own body and succeed you. Let him live in security; let him be tranquil.”

And I prayed to the Lord my God about this; then He granted me wisdom and knowledge about how to lead my life in such a way that both I and my son Solomon would be able to live in security.”

Dear God,

I pray for my child who is sick. Please heal him and make him well. I know that You are able to do all things, even the impossible. You have promised to work all things together for good to those who love You. I believe that this sickness is part of Your plan to accomplish something amazing in my child’s life and in ours as a family.

Please give us wisdom as we seek medical treatment for our son’s illness, so that we can learn what to do next. Please give us patience and strength during these difficult days as we watch him struggle with pain and fatigue. And please give me faith that You will continue to be at work for good in his life, even though he may not always see it or feel it immediately.

I thank you for your mercy on our family during this time of crisis; from my heart, I pray this blessing upon our child: “Blessed be the God of Israel, who alone does wondrous things.”

Dear Lord, I come to You with a heavy heart.

I pray for my child who is sick.

Please comfort her. Please heal her. Please take away all the pain and suffering that she is experiencing.

Thank you for being our Healer and Healer of all things. Thank you for loving us and showing us your love in such a tangible way through the gift of your Son, Jesus Christ.

In His name I pray, Amen

Dear God,

I pray that you bring my child back to health. Please restore my son to his former glory, and let him be as strong as he once was.

He has been sick for so long, and I’m worried about his health. Please let him feel your presence and know that you are with him at all times.

Thank you for hearing my prayers and answering them according to your will.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Lord, please help your servant.

He is weak and I am strong.

Help him to stand strong in the midst of his pain,

and give him the strength to overcome this battle.

Oh Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

—Isaiah 25:1
