Prayer For Leaders Meeting

Prayer For Leaders Meeting: Prayer is a spiritual discipline that requires discipline and purpose. To assist you in meeting the spiritual requirements of a leader’s life, the following prayer guide will help you to develop a sound biblical approach to praying for your leaders. Prayer is the best weapon I have with regards to my Ministry. I believe every leader should pray fervently and often. But then, pray for one hour a day for yourself, your family, and your ministry. The carol service was a tremendous success with over 600 adults and children present. The Lord blessed us richly and we were pleased to have visitors from Huddersfield, Ripponden, Halifax and Knottingley who joined us and enjoyed the fellowship together. The English language is filled with words that are used incorrectly and it was never an issue until recently. The problem is our leaders’ use of the word “pray”. They use the word pray according to their own idea and their own definitions of what prayer is rather than what the Bible defines and proclaims as prayer. As leaders who claim to be Christians and God fearing, we need to point out these errors in judgment and educate them on how prayers should be designed and utilized. Prayer has been around since the beginning of time, and we expect people to continue to pray until Jesus comes back again. When I come across posts like these, I can’t help but to feel a little twisted inside. I’m an author and book enthusiast, I like a good read, and enjoy connecting with people who can tell me about their experiences. However, when coming across posts written by authors who are using their blogs as a platform for bullies — it makes me want to reach through the screen and shake them until they have nothing left to say.

If we’re honest about the practicalities, we acknowledge that we can’t pray for everything; so where do we start?

What are the big prayers that can transform your leadership from the mere results of human effort, to supernaturally empowered?

The purpose of this post is not to limit your prayers. You can pray for anything at any time. But some prayers are positioned to give support to you, your more specific prayers and your leadership. They bring life, energy, and strength to what you do as a leader.

Before we move through these seven prayers, let me briefly share my personal approach in prayer. When I start with these three prayers, my heart seems to be better positioned to pray further and deeper. They aren’t necessarily long, but they are very sincere.

The best positioning of our heart before we ask more of God is a spirit of gratitude for what He has already given. So, I speak words of praise and worship and very specific thanks for the many blessings in my life.

A humble heart is pleasing to God. Therefore, I offer expressions of confession and acknowledge my dependence upon God.

I lean into God’s kindness by declaring my trust and belief based on countless answered prayers. This is not a “name it and claim it” proposition, but my desire to pray His will, according to scripture, while acknowledging God’s love for the church and me.
