Lord, we thank you for the year that is ending. We pray that you will continue to guide us in our journey as we move into the new year.

We pray that you will give us the strength to carry on and make the right choices in all aspects of our lives. We pray that you will help us forgive those who have hurt or wronged us and grant us the wisdom to move on from any situations that may still hold us back from being truly happy.

We pray for family members and friends who are ill or suffering, so that they may experience healing and comfort in their time of need. May God bless them with peace, love, understanding, and joy during these difficult times.

Let us end this year with hope knowing that we can always turn to God for guidance and strength when needed most.

Dear God,

Thank you for this year. Thank you for all the things that have happened and all the things that haven’t happened. Thank you for the lessons we’ve learned. Thank you for the people in our lives who have encouraged us, and the people who have hurt us. Thank you for making us strong enough to stand up to them and make a difference in their lives.

We pray for peace in this world, and for joy with our families and friends. We pray that as we end this year, we will remember what matters most: love and kindness, compassion, sharing joy with others, and being good stewards of the planet on which we live.

We pray these things in Jesus’s name. Amen

Thank you for the year that has passed, and the many blessings you have given us. We acknowledge your grace in our lives and ask that you continue to guide us in the coming year.

For those who are struggling, we pray for strength and comfort. For those who are ill or grieving, we pray for healing and peace of mind. And for all of us, we pray for a new year filled with hope and joy!

In Jesus’ name I pray…

Dear God, we thank you for this year.

We know we’ve made mistakes and we’ve fallen short of your expectations in many ways, but we also know that you are merciful and forgiving. We know that you love us and that you have a plan for us. We pray that you will continue to guide us in the coming year, as we seek to do your will on Earth. We pray that you will help us to be better husbands and wives, better parents, better employees, better friends, and better neighbors.

We thank you for all the blessings in our lives—the health of our bodies; the good health of our children; our friends who have supported us through thick and thin; the ability to provide food and shelter for ourselves and others; the joy we feel at being able to give back to those in need; the knowledge that there is still so much more work to be done before justice reigns on Earth as it does in Heaven.

We pray for those who are suffering—those who are hungry or homeless or sick or alone or afraid. We pray for those who have lost loved ones or experienced tragedy this year: may they find comfort in knowing that even though their pain seems unbearable now, it won’t always be

Dear God,

We are grateful for the many blessings you have given us this year. From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for all that we have been able to accomplish together.

We ask that you continue to guide and protect us as we move forward into the new year. We pray that your love will continue to pour out on us, even when we are unaware of it.

Please give us strength and courage as we face challenges in the days ahead. Help us to remember that you are always with us, even when it doesn’t feel like it.

Help us to be humble, knowing that there is always more than one way to solve a problem or make a decision. We ask that you give us the wisdom needed to know when something needs to be changed or improved upon so that no one is hurt by our actions or decisions.

Thank you again for everything!
