Prayer for Emotional Abuse -

Lord, I come to you today in need of emotional healing. I am seeking your help in overcoming my depression and anxiety. I know that you have the power to heal me, but I also know that you want me to work on my own healing as well. Therefore, I ask that you help me find a way to do this. Help me see that my feelings are not always rational, but they can be managed. Help me understand that there is no shame in struggling with mental illness, even when it seems impossible to overcome. Help me find a way to trust myself again and believe that I can be happy once more.

Thank you for hearing my prayer today, Lord. Please help me find peace within myself so that I may be at peace with others around me as well. Amen

Dear God,

I come before you today to ask for healing. I have been through a lot in the last few months, and I need your help to get through it.

I don’t know if I can handle this without you. Please give me strength and guidance; give me the ability to overcome my fears and doubts.

Please help me to be strong enough to face whatever comes next, whatever that may be.

Thank you for listening to me today; thank you for being here with me every step of the way as I continue on this journey of life.

Dear God,

We come to you in our time of need. We ask for your guidance and protection in this difficult time. We know that we are loved by you, and so we ask for your help to heal our hearts and minds.

Please help us to feel safe and secure in our environment, even when it is filled with uncertainty. Help us to remember that you have a plan for our lives, and that everything happens for a reason. Please remind us of the truth that everything will be okay, even when things seem impossible or hopeless.

We thank you for all the blessings you have bestowed upon us over the years: our friends, family members, homes, possessions… The list goes on and on! Please continue to bless us with these gifts now and into the future! Bring peace into our lives today as well as tomorrow; comfort us when we are weak; strength when we are weak; joy when we are sad (or angry).

God please let me know what I need to do financially in order to pay off my bills from school because I know there is something good coming out of it because I pray every day about it

God, I’m so sorry for the pain I’ve caused. I know it’s my fault and no one else’s that my heart is broken, and I’m so sorry for the way I’ve been acting.

I don’t know what to do anymore, God. I think about you and how much you love me, but then I get all wrapped up in myself again and forget what it means to be loved by you.

But today, God, help me remember that you are here for me always. You will never leave me or forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:6). You know all about my life, and you care about every little thing that happens to me (Psalm 139:1-4).

Help me see today as a new beginning—a chance to start over and try again. Help me remember that your love never fails (Romans 8:38-39). Even if it feels like it does sometimes!

Help me be kinder toward myself today than yesterday; more forgiving toward others than yesterday; more grateful for what you’ve given me today than yesterday; more patient with myself today than yesterday; less hard on myself today than yesterday; less hard on others
