Dear God,

We pray for Australia. For the land and its people, that they may be blessed with peace, prosperity, and health.

We ask that you look upon them in your mercy, and grant them a safe future.

We pray that you would continue to guide all who work towards the betterment of their country, and those who seek to serve as leaders therein.

We pray for those who have been lost to violence or illness; give them comfort from above as they await your judgement.

We also pray for our enemies; that they would turn from their wicked ways and come to know you as Lord of all creation through Jesus Christ our Savior.

Dear God, we pray for our country, Australia. We ask that you bless our leaders with wisdom and courage, and help them to govern with justice and integrity. We pray that you will protect us from violence, disease, natural disaster and all other threats. Please guide us in making wise decisions about how we use our resources; help us to live simply so others may simply live. Give us the courage to be generous with our time, talents and money. Bless those who are suffering from disease or injury; comfort those in mourning; bring peace to those who are grieving over lost loved ones. May all who suffer from loss soon find comfort in your presence.

We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Dear God,

We pray for Australia. We pray for the people of Australia, and we pray for their leaders. We pray that you would guide them in their decision making, that you would give them strength to do what is right, and that you would help them to follow your word.

We also pray for those who are suffering in Australia right now—the victims of crime, those who have lost loved ones or friends in senseless violence, those who are experiencing natural disasters or other forms of distress. We pray that they will find comfort in knowing that they are not alone, and that they will be able to find solace with each other as they move forward through this difficult time.

We ask that you look over our country and protect us from harm. Protect us from those who would try to do us harm with malicious intent; protect us from those who seek power over others at all costs; protect us from those whose hearts turn cold towards their fellow man; protect us from ourselves when we are tempted by sin; protect us from our own ignorance when we do not know what is best for ourselves or others around us; protect us from those who seek to take advantage of others’ good will by falsely claiming authority over them through coercion or intimidation rather than mutual

We also pray for those who have lost loved ones or been injured in this tragedy. We ask that their wounds heal quickly and that they be surrounded by love as they recover.

Finally, Lord, we ask that you guide the rescue workers and medical staff who are caring for the survivors in their time of need. We thank you for these brave people who have put themselves at risk to save others.
