Prayer For 3am

Prayer For 3am: Please, dear God. Protect us from evil tonight. So that we may wake up on the morrow refreshed and energized. Please keep my children and husband safe from harm. And please calm my husband’s mind so that he can be with me peacefully at 3am. Dear God, my mind is racing. I think that worries me the most. When I lay here in bed, thoughts move as quickly as the wind, or maybe I’m moving too slow and all the noise is just going past. It fills my head with all this nonsense, making it hard to focus, to breathe, to grasp things. Just make it stop. I don’t mean for good — I’d say that would be a problem if you did take away all these random thoughts — just enough to leave me worry-free and happy. Maybe it’s not prayers that you need because this isn’t true faith, but some kind of medication. Maybe it’s a nightcap to dull the senses and let me breathe easy through the morning hours. Whatever it may be, dear God, please give me something before 3 a.m., because if there’s one thing that’s certain: Three a.m. comes. Sleeplessness and agitation reign as consciousness oppresses like an unforgiving tyrant. The warm glow of the glowing digits on the clock exposes the absurdity of tossing in bed, praying for sleep when none comes. Defeated, hopeless and filled with doubt, I ache with the emptiness of being alone while needing him more than ever. I am so grateful to be able to have this time to connect with you, God. I know that it’s hard for you to hear my prayers when I’m awake at 3am—it’s so quiet, and there are so many other sounds in the world. But I just wanted you to know that I’m praying for you right now. I pray that you are comforted by my prayers, and that they bring you peace and joy. Please don’t forget about me when things get busy—I need your guidance and wisdom as much as ever before!

Prayer for 3am

“I can’t sleep. I’m awake at 3am, and again I feel the urge to pray. Usually I try to ignore it because if I don’t, I’ll be up for hours thinking about life’s Big Questions. With kids and a job, who has time for that? But my praying isn’t just about questions: it’s when I talk with God about everything. And it’s in those conversations that I find myself growing closer to Him.” –Sara Hagerty

Jesus our saviour,

Jesus is the saviour of all. Jesus is the saviour of the world.

Jesus our lord,

Jesus is holy, righteous and just. He is the Son of God. He is the Messiah who will reign forever and ever. Like a king, he has unlimited power to bless his people in ways they cannot imagine. He is also like a shepherd who looks after his sheep with tenderness and compassion, knowing that they are weak and fragile creatures; he knows them intimately by name and keeps them safe from harm so that they may flourish under his watchful eye.

He loves us all so very much! He gave up his life on earth in order to save us from our sins so that we could come back into relationship with him again one day (Romans 5:8). Jesus died for everybody who has ever lived on this earth; even though not all people will accept what he’s done for them or believe it’s true, Jesus still did it because he wanted everyone to have an opportunity at redemption no matter what their background was or what kind of person they were before meeting him face-to-face during their lifetime here on Earth.”

Jesus our king,

In the third hour of the night, Jesus is our King.

He is not only the King of our hearts and lives, but also of our families.

Jesus is also King of the World.

We surrender ourselves to you.

We surrender ourselves to you. We are sinners, and we have not always obeyed your word. But we know that even though we are not perfect, you love us and care for us as if we were your own children. You will never leave us or abandon us in our time of need—or any other time.

You are the perfect Father, and we have no one else but you whom we can trust with our lives.

Please bless our lives to be filled with love and joy.

God, please bless our lives to be filled with love and joy.

Please help us to have an attitude of gratitude in all situations.

Help us to see the blessings in our lives, even when things appear difficult or sad.

Help us to trust you when things don’t go as we want them to go, because life is about the journey, not the destination.

If you are having a bad day, know that there is always tomorrow! Don’t put too much pressure on yourself or beat yourself up over your mistakes; everyone makes them sometimes! It’s okay if you ask for help from others along your path—you can accomplish great things by working together as a team (and sometimes even just by talking).

Please watch us while we sleep.

This prayer is a plea for protection and peace of mind. It’s meant to be used when you feel unsafe, or if you’re going through a period of anxiety and stress, or if your sleep quality has deteriorated due to illness or other factors. If any of these situations apply to you, please consider saying this prayer every night for several days in a row until your situation improves.

  • Dear God,
  • Please watch over me while I sleep; keep me from harm and send angels to protect me against evil spirits in this dark hour before dawn.
  • May Your love give me comfort as I lay my head down upon my pillow tonight; may Your wisdom guide my dreams so they are peaceful and pleasant ones—and may they be filled with images of those I love who have passed into Heaven before us all.

Please protect us from all harm.

  • You are all-powerful, all-knowing and loving.
  • You are everywhere, so no harm can reach us without Your knowledge.
  • Your protection is everlasting and eternal.

Please heal us from our pain and sickness.

  • Ask God to heal us from all pain and sickness, both physical, mental/emotional, spiritual or caused by disease or injury.

We ask that You heal all of our bodies in any way they are hurting or sick.

We ask that You heal the wounds of our hearts—the ones we have experienced through sin and hurt.

We ask that You fill us with Your Spirit that we might know Your peace in our lives today.

Thank you for being our guide through every day of our lives.

You are our guide through every day of our lives. We thank you for being with us, even when we feel alone or scared, because we know that we are never really alone. We thank you for listening to our prayers, even when they’re just thoughts in the back of our heads and not actual words that come out of our mouths. We thank you for watching over us and protecting us, even when it seems like there is nothing good happening in this world anymore. We thank you for forgiving us every day when we make mistakes or do things that hurt others and ourselves, because no matter what happens in life or how flawed we become as humans—you will always love us unconditionally.

Thank you for listening to all of our prayers,

Thank you for listening to all of our prayers. We know that God is always listening, even when we think we are speaking only to ourselves. God never sleeps and is always present with us, even if it seems like a long time before he answers our pleas. We are grateful that you understand us as individuals: what makes us feel loved, what makes us cry out in frustration or anger. You understand our needs and desires more than anyone else would ever be able to do—and yet you still give us room to make mistakes and grow into better versions of ourselves each day.

Thank you for giving me strength during those times when I am weak; thank you for giving me courage during times when I am afraid; thank you for giving me love at all times when it seems impossible to find or express love myself

Even those that are unspoken.

As the night quietly falls, it can be hard to find the words to pray. But even those that are unspoken have worth. God knows your deepest needs and wants for you, and he is always listening. When you are feeling afraid or alone at 3am, take time to be still with God and allow yourself to hear his voice. Silence can be a powerful tool for prayer: it allows us to connect with god through our hearts rather than our heads; it helps us listen more carefully; it allows us space from distractions so we can focus on connecting with him.

In Christ’s name we ask for your blessings. Amen.

You may be surprised to learn that prayer is not limited to just one time of day or activity. You can pray any time, in any place, and even while you’re doing something else. God is everywhere and all-present so that means we can communicate with him at any given moment. Prayer isn’t just about asking for things; it’s also about listening for answers from God and reflecting on how we can grow closer to him by living in accordance with his will for our lives.

Prayer is a form of meditation because it helps us focus our thoughts on God instead of letting them wander aimlessly like they tend to do when we’re stressed or anxious (or both!). This brings peace into our minds because we know that whatever happens next won’t affect whether or not we are going straight back home again when this life ends up being over someday soon.

Prayer also serves as a reminder that no matter how difficult things may seem sometimes during our daily activities here on Earth – whether those difficulties are financial problems related issues within relationships between loved ones – God will always be there waiting patiently until each person finds their way back home again where everyone should be safe from harm inside these walls which protect us from outside forces trying desperately hard every single day trying break through without success despite endless attempts made against them:

Everyone is worthy of God’s protection at any hour of the day.

Prayer is a form of meditation and relaxation. It helps us feel more in control of our life, happier and healthier. Prayer connects us with others; we are not alone in this world. We can pray for others to be protected as well as ourselves. Prayer may also help you find joy in the simplest things; it doesn’t have to be difficult or complicated.

Prayer does not require any prior knowledge or skill, only sincerity and an open mind! Even if you are just starting out with meditation or prayer, know that God has already heard your wishes before they were even spoken aloud because He knows all things before they happen (Psalm 139).

You may have heard about the idea of a prayer for 3am. This is based on Matthew 6:33, which says “Seek first God’s kingdom and his righteousness.” It is meant to remind us that we should not worry about things like money or work as much as our relationship with God. One way to do this would be praying at 3am every night before going to sleep so that you can get some peace of mind.
