If you’re a fan of the Bible, you know that there are a lot of movies about it. Some of those movies are good! And some of them are bad.
But for the most part, if you’re looking for a movie about the Bible on YouTube, it’s going to be one of two things: either a low-budget film that was made by someone who has no idea what they’re doing, or an animated film that uses cartoon characters to tell the story.
We are aware of how annoying this can be. It’s not like the Bible is devoid of fantastic tales that could be turned into a fantastic film! But we also recognize how challenging it can be to find a film that isn’t just another animated adaptation of Adam and Eve or Noah’s Ark.
That’s why we created [company name]. We want everyone who loves the Bible and wants more movies based on it—but maybe doesn’t always have time for long books—to be able to find movies about their favorite parts of scripture.
Movies Of The Bible Youtube
Introduction
Millions of people have been motivated to improve their lives by the wonderful book known as the Bible. But it’s also rather lengthy, which makes it challenging to read or study. Fortunately, a lot of creative filmmakers have taken the time to make movies that retell the most well-known Bible stories. These are excellent for teaching kids about this very significant work of literature. They’re also incredibly enjoyable stories. Therefore, even if you have no interest in religion, you may still appreciate these theatrical portrayals of some of history’s most well-known figures!
ADAM
“Adam” is a movie from the Bible that tells the story of Adam, the first man created by God. In this film, you’ll learn about how God made Adam in his image and how he gave him all plants and animals as food. You’ll also learn about when Adam ate fruit from the tree of knowledge which caused him to fall into sin and die spiritually. Finally, you’ll find out how God had mercy on him when he repented of his sins.
Now that you’ve learned about ADAM: A Film From The Bible on Youtube (and hopefully watched it), let’s look at some other films available through this channel!
JOSEPH
Joseph was the son of Jacob and Rachel, and he was sold into slavery by his brothers. Joseph spent many years in Egypt as a slave, but eventually rose to become the right hand man of Pharaoh himself! He reunited with his family and became the father of Ephraim and Manasseh.
MOSES
- Mosaic is a 1995 American mystery drama film directed by Steven Soderbergh and written by Steve Zaillian. It stars Sharon Stone, Danny Aiello, Sarita Choudhury, and Michael Rapaport. The film centers on the murder of a wealthy New York City socialite and investigation that ensues afterward.
ABRAHAM
In the movie, Abraham is portrayed as a man of great faith. He was willing to sacrifice his only son at God’s request—a test of loyalty and obedience. However, in the end, God sent an angel to stop him from killing Isaac. The story portrays God as forgiving and merciful despite Abraham’s actions because he believed in God’s promise that he would have countless offspring.
It is important to note that this version of the story is based on Genesis 22:1-19, which describes how Abraham traveled with his wife Sarah and young son Isaac toward Mount Moriah where they were going to sacrifice him (see Genesis 22:2). As you read through these verses, think about how sometimes we feel like God asks us to do things that seem impossible—in fact, He may even ask us to give up something or someone we love dearly—but if we trust Him fully and obey His commands faithfully then He will never leave our side!
PAUL THE APOSTLE
Paul the Apostle was a Roman citizen and a tent maker. He was also a Jew, a Pharisee and a Roman citizen. Paul the Apostle was not only the Apostle to the Gentiles, but also the founder of Christianity as we know it today. He’s considered by many to be one of the most influential figures in history because he is responsible for spreading Christianity across Europe, Asia and North Africa.
Paul grew up in Tarsus (modern day Turkey) where his father was a Roman citizen named Julius Paulus who worked as an officer in imperial administration under Emperor Claudius while his mother supported them through trade of goods like textiles or metals. As such he inherited both citizenship status from his father as well as religious upbringing by his mother Eunice who adhered strongly for her Judaism beliefs until she converted later on when aged about 15 years old after meeting with Christ’s apostles Peter & John at Jerusalem Temple during Passover celebrations there.”
JUDAS ISCARIOT
Judas Iscariot is a film directed by Rolf Forsberg, based on the biblical character of Judas Iscariot. The movie was released in 1990 but has been in production since 1974. It was made with an estimated budget of $55 million and grossed over $1 billion worldwide.
DAVID & GOLIATH
David & Goliath is a 1960 film directed by David Lean. The film was released in the United States on December 28, 1962.
Based on the biblical story of David and Goliath, it features Peter O’Toole as King Saul, Robert Morley as Jonathan, and Yul Brynner as Goliath. It was filmed on location at Shepperton Studios with sets designed by Ken Adam.
SOLOMON & SHEBA
Solomon and Sheba is a 1959 film directed by King Vidor, and starring Yul Brynner and Gina Lollobrigida. It is based on the biblical story of Solomon and the Queen of Sheba.
It was the first Technicolor film shot in Saudi Arabia, which at that time was an Arab kingdom under British protection. King Vidor’s production company had moved from MGM to Universal Studios after being blacklisted from Hollywood for refusing to name names before the House Un-American Activities Committee, which led him to make this film out of fear of not being able to get another Hollywood job if he refused again.
The movie opens with a small caravan crossing into Jerusalem via an ancient gate on top of Mount Zion. We see a group of men climbing up onto an altar where they worship their god (Elohim) until one man breaks away from them and starts walking down some stairs towards the city below.
This man is Solomon; he has just returned home having been away for many years serving as king at his father David’s side while his brother Adonijah ruled over Israel during his absence.
Solomon comes down into town just as two girls playing ball accidentally hit him in the face with their ball when it hits off a wall behind him; we soon learn that these two girls are actually princesses who live within Jerusalem’s walls: Batya (Lollobrigida) and her younger sister Tamaah ().
Batya has heard stories about what kind of man Solomon really is so she tries not speak much with him until he offers her something called “mineral water” which tastes like flat beer but seems safe enough for her so she accepts it from him.
Tamaah however does not know how old this man could be since he looks young enough for both herself or Batya so when Solomon offers some more mineral water she takes some too even though she doesn’t want any more
DANIEL & LIONS DEN
Daniel was a prophet and as such, he had to endure many trials. But perhaps the most famous story of Daniel was his encounter with the lions’ den. In this movie you can see how God protects Daniel so that he not only survives but is able to walk away unharmed. I recommend watching this movie if you are looking for an example of faith and courage in the midst of adversity!
Some of these are great movies!
You may be wondering why you would want to see a movie about Noah’s Ark, or David and Goliath. There are some great movies out there, but also some not so great ones.
Some of these films aren’t really films. A documentary about the Ten Commandments is The Ten Commandments, for instance (me). It’s beneficial if you want to learn more about the Bible but find reading difficult (just like math).
As it turns out, bible movies animated is something that is not easily obtained under normal circumstances. Even if you have a Kindle Fire tablet or smartphone you will be unable to receive it. If you want bible movies on netflix, then it is going to be your job to make these efforts in order to receive them. You are going to have to do your part and make sure everything is done properly if you want to have any hope of getting the best biblical films for free.
The first step in watching a biblical movie is picking one that isn’t actually biblical. Some examples of modern-day retellings include: God’s Not Dead 2 – Jesus gets killed by an atheist professor who dies in prison after being convicted for murder; Mary Magdalene – Mary Magdalene gets possessed by demons while she tries to stop them from entering heaven; Heaven Is For Real – A child tells his parents that he went up into heaven when he was sick and saw Jesus before coming back down again; Left Behind – While millions disappear around him during the Rapture, Nicolas Cage searches for his wife and finds himself in Russia where he helps cause World War III with nuclear weapons that were supposed to be destroyed several years ago
Conclusion
These are all great movies, based on biblical stories. They’re also suitable for children, so a good way to share the bible with your kids!
