If you are looking for a church home in West Michigan, we would love for you to come and check out the Lighthouse! We offer three services every Sunday morning at 9 AM, 11 AM and 6 PM. Our Pastor Rob Wohlfert is incredible. He has been serving as the Senior Pastor here at the Lighthouse Church since January 2017. Prior to his arrival he served churches in California, Idaho and Illinois. In addition to his role as Senior Pastor at The Lighthouse, he also serves on the leadership team of Reliant (a family of churches), The City (an online community) and Redeemer Church Planting Network. He really is an amazing guy with a great message!

Lighthouse Church was founded in 1876 by Pastor Jameson as a non-denominational Christian church with the mission statement “to be a lighthouse for all who seek God’s love.” Our vision is to “be an international Christian community that models Christ’s love through acts of kindness toward one another.” We are committed to serving our community through care for the poor; outreach in prisons; assistance with addiction recovery programs; religious education classes for children; youth services such as summer camps and after school clubs; counseling services including marriage counseling sessions between couples or individuals seeking help with depression or anxiety issues related to their spiritual journey through life’s struggles (etc.).

Pastor Rob Wohlfert

Pastor Rob Wohlfert is the founding pastor of The Lighthouse Church. He has been with us since 1992, and he and his wife Lisa have two children. Pastor Rob graduated from Calvin College and Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The Lighthouse Church is a non-denominational church in West Michigan.

You may be wondering, “What is a non-denominational church?” As Christians, we are often confused by the term. What does it mean to be non-denominational? Isn’t that like being not denominational? In a way, yes! But there’s more to it than that.

If you’ve never heard of the term before (or if you’re just confused), let me explain: Non-denominational means that we are not affiliated with any denomination or organization outside of our own church community here at The Lighthouse Church. We do not belong to any association or group outside of what we have here at TLCHC. We worship together and share each other’s lives in an authentic way because God has called us together as His people—not because someone else told us so!

We have actually been serving the greater Holland area for over 30 years…which is crazy!

How many churches out there can say they’ve been in business for three decades? Not many. The fact that we’re still here and stronger than ever is amazing to me. But I’m not going to pat myself on the back too much—we have an awesome God who has blessed this church with His favor, grace and mercy.
