Judah is a place of pride and strength.
From the Dead Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, Judah is described as a kingdom in the Bible. The fourth son of Jacob, who was born at Hebron, was honored with the name. Due to the fact that Moses received instructions on how to construct the Ark of the Covenant, which held the Ten Commandments, in Judah, it was also referred to as “the land of Yahweh.”
Judah had five kings: Saul and David; Solomon; Rehoboam; Ahaziah; Athaliah; Jehoshaphat; Jotham; Ahaz; Hezekiah; Manasseh; Amon; Josiah (son of Amon); Jehoiachin (son of Jehoiachin); Zedekiah (son of Josiah).
Judah was Jacob’s fourth son. Judah was born after Joseph, Simeon and Levi. He was the first of Leah’s children to be born. The name Judah means “praise.”
Judah was the son of Jacob who was one of the twelve sons of Israel. Judah’s mother was Leah and his father was Jacob. Judah had five brothers: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, Issachar, Zebulun and two sisters: Dinah and Rachel (see Genesis 29-30).
Judah is a son of Jacob by his first wife Leah. He is one of the patriarchs of Israel in the Bible. In Genesis 49:8-12 he gives his blessings to his own sons as well as to those who would come from them (see also Genesis 49). It’s believed that this prophecy refers to Jesus Christ as King David’s descendant (Matthew 1:1-16).
Judah is a son of Jacob, who was the father of the 12 tribes of Israel. The name means “praised.” Judah, along with his brothers, was born to Jacob and Leah. Judah had four sons: Er, Onan, Shelah, and Perez.
Judah had a daughter named Tamar as well. Tamar married Judah’s first-born son Er but would not engage in sexual activity with him after he passed away childless. Instead, she pretended to be a prostitute and convinced her father-in-law to have a sexual encounter with her in order to have a child through him. Perez and Zerah, twin boys, were born as a result.
The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh comes; and to Him shall be the obedience of the people.
Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles by the way of the sea, along the Jordan—The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of deep darkness a light has dawned. For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government will be upon his shoulder, and his name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom—established and firm for ever. The zeal of YAHUWAH of hosts will accomplish this. The Lord himself has

who shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?
