A Prayer For The Day: Prayer is the key to unlocking the doors of Heaven. Prayer is the key to understanding God’s will for your life. Prayer is the key to gaining favor with God and being accepted by Him. This is why I want to share with you a prayer that I believe will unlock these doors for you and help you gain favor with God. Introduction

We are living in unprecedented times with a pandemic that is affecting every one of us. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed and alone, but we have to remember that we aren’t. We are all in this together, and there are many wonderful people who are doing everything they can to help. You too can make a difference by following the instructions given by your local government and health officials. Social distance yourself when you go out, wash your hands often, cough into your elbow and just stay at home as much as possible. Please be mindful of the elderly who are most vulnerable during this time but don’t forget about those who have underlying conditions or compromised immune systems as well. If you know someone like that, see if they would like groceries delivered to their door or just check on them from time-to-time via video chat or phone call. Stay safe!

Most gracious God, we humbly ask for your protection and care.

Most gracious God, we humbly ask for your protection and care.

Grant us a spirit of thanksgiving and gratitude. Help us to remember that all things are possible with you, if only we ask in faith. Assure us that no matter what life brings, you will be there to guide us through every step of the way. Amen!

I pray that you would be with me today as I go about my day.

I pray that you would be with me today as I go about my day.

God’s presence is everywhere in all things, but it is especially present in the everyday moments of our lives. God is with us when we are working, playing and resting; He is with us when we are feeling happy or sad. I ask for His presence today because I know that wherever I go or whatever situation arises, there will be a reminder of His love and grace within me.

I pray that as I begin my day, You would give me strength to face any challenges ahead of me so that they do not hinder my ability to accomplish Your will during this time period on Earth.

Give me a calm and peaceful spirit today, Lord.

When you feel anxious, it can be hard to remember to take a deep breath. But if you’re able to slow down and focus on your breathing for even a few seconds, you’ll notice that your heart rate will start to drop and the tension in your body will loosen.

If you’re prone to anxiety attacks or panic attacks, try doing something physical that grounds you—like yoga or walking—to help bring yourself back into balance. These types of activities can also help reduce the amount of time between an attack and its peak intensity by slowing down the process through which adrenaline is released into the bloodstream.

In addition, remind yourself that everything comes up in cycles; nothing lasts forever! It’s good practice not only as an antidote against anxiety but also as a way of thinking about life generally: things come up (good or bad), but they always pass away again eventually (and sometimes even more quickly than expected). Just like today’s weather forecast may predict rain tomorrow morning but likely clear up by mid-afternoon…

Help me to find rest in you and trust you with the concerns of today.

As you begin your day, help me to find rest in you and trust you with the concerns of today.

Let me start by meditating on your word, giving myself time to breathe deeply and consider how it applies to me. In this quiet moment, may I feel safe as I take my anxieties to You; may they be cast away as a piece of clothing is removed from a body that has been worn through the night. Help me not only feel comforted by Your presence but also empowered by Your strength. In this time of reflection, remind me that You are trustworthy—that no matter what happens today or tomorrow or next week or next month or next year, there is nothing that can separate me from the love of Christ Jesus our Lord.

I know that you are in control of all things and nothing takes You by surprise or is outside Your will.

I know that you are in control of all things and nothing takes You by surprise or is outside Your will.

When I feel that all hope is lost, and I don’t know what to do next, please remind me that this is one of those times when you are carrying out your plan for my good.

There was a time when I felt completely helpless because of the difficult circumstances in my life. But then I turned to God and trusted him; he has never failed me yet!

Help me to not get flustered when things don’t go my way today.

Dear Lord, please show me how to not get flustered when things don’t go my way today. Help me to be willing to help others and not let my emotions get the better of me. I know that it is easy for me to get angry when other people are doing things wrong or behaving poorly. Please help me today so that I don’t take out my anger on other people or let their bad behavior ruin my day.

Thank you for helping us with our anger issues and teaching us how to react when we feel upset by someone else’s actions. We love you and pray that these words will bring peace into our hearts during this difficult time in our lives.”

Remind me that everything works together for my good.

Remind me that everything works together for my good.

A few weeks ago, I was at a crossroads in my life and felt like everything that could go wrong was happening. I started to question God’s goodness and why He didn’t stop these bad things from happening to me. This led me into a dark place of despair where I questioned God’s love for me.

I began to feel sorry for myself, but then I read Psalm 23:4-5 which says: “Even though I walk through the valley of death, I will fear no evil; For you are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me…You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies! You anoint my head with oil; My cup overflows! Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”

Help me also to remember that whatever I am going through right now is only temporary, no matter how big it seems or how long it lasts.

  • Don’t worry about tomorrow. Tomorrow will take care of itself. There’s no need to borrow trouble by thinking about things that have not yet happened and may never happen.
  • Don’t worry about what you cannot change. If something is out of your hands, don’t worry about it! Focus on what you can do something about instead, and let go of the parts that you cannot control or influence
  • Don’t worry about things that are not under your control. There are many things in life over which we have no direct control at all—the weather, the economy, political events—so don’t waste your precious energy worrying about these things! Instead focus on what is within our power—what we can do personally and collectively

You are my rock, my fortress, and my shelter from the storm.

You are my rock, my fortress, and my shelter from the storm.

You are my hope in the pit of despair.

Thank you for being there for me and never leaving me alone. I pray this in Jesus’ name. Amen

Prayer plays a huge role in the 12 step program. In fact, It’s suggested that members of Alcoholics Anonymous pray several times each day.

Prayer is also important for people recovering from addiction or alcohol dependency. Prayer helps remove negative thoughts and feelings from our minds so that we can do what needs to be done that day. Prayer also helps give us courage when we feel like giving up on ourselves or our recovery process altogether, which means it can help us stay sober longer than we otherwise would have been able to do without its assistance!

In addition to being a helpful tool that aids in maintaining sobriety for those who are trying their best not only get clean but stay sober as well, prayer has numerous other benefits as well including: improving your quality of life through positive thinking (and thus reinforcing one’s commitment towards living healthier), strengthening one’s faith in God/Jesus Christ (which can lead one down an even more spiritual path than before), healing physical ailments such as headaches/migraines/low back pain etc., increasing energy levels while decreasing fatigue levels (which makes it easier for someone struggling with chronic health problems such as narcolepsy).

Conclusion

You are my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Help me to lean on You every day. Thank You for Your love and forgiveness.
