A Prayer For Healing And Strength

A Prayer For Healing And Strength: This evening, I am sending this prayer out into the world because I am in need of your fortitude and healing. I’ve taken a lot of extremely heavy hits over the past few weeks. My dog fell ill and died, my grandfather passed away, and my mother is currently going through breast cancer treatment. I’m not sure how much longer I can maintain my composure. Even though I know it’s unfair that these things are happening to me and even though I know they’re not my fault, it still hurts so much. It feels like one thing after another is coming down on me. I’m worn out from trying to maintain my composure in front of everyone else while internally disintegrating.

A Prayer For Healing And Strength

Lord, I Come Before You Broken And In Need Of Healing.

You are not alone. You can ask for help. You don’t have to be perfect or have it all together.

You are not alone and you can ask for help. God will lift you up when you are down and bring those who care about your well-being into your life at just the right time to do so. We may not understand why things happen, but everything is in His hands and He knows what is best for us (Romans 8:28).

We don’t have to live with our burdens alone; we can rely on prayer! Prayer opens up lines of communication between us and God so that we can communicate with Him effectively about our needs as well as receive answers from Him regarding anything that concerns us (1 John 5:14).

Father, My Mind Is Filled With Thoughts That Are Out Of My Control.

Praying for those who have a mental illness: When I think of someone with a mental illness, I picture them rocking back and forth in a straight jacket, wracked by fits of uncontrollable laughter or crying. But mental illness can look like so many things: depression; anxiety disorders; post-traumatic stress disorder; suicidal ideation; schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and more. In fact, one in five Americans has some form of mental illness. That’s 20%!

You might be surprised to learn that some of your favorite celebrities suffer from chronic illnesses or disorders such as depression, anxiety and panic attacks–including actors like Jake Gyllenhaal and Joseph Gordon Levitt (both have spoken publicly about their own struggles). The actress Demi Moore is famous for her battle with bipolar disorder–she’s written books about it and even appeared on Oprah Winfrey’s show to discuss her experience dealing with the disease.

Gracious God, I Am Hurting.

Dear God,

I know that you are a healer. I pray for healing for my friend who is suffering from a broken heart and spirit. You are the Healer of all things, and I believe you can help my friend find happiness again. Please give her peace, comfort and strength to deal with this trial in her life. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen!

Dear God, My Heart Is Filled With Anger And Hatred As I Think About What I Have Been Through.

Dear God, my heart is filled with anger and hatred as I think about what I have been through.

I have done things that I am not proud of, and I know that you are disappointed in me. But every day that passes shows me more clearly the importance of forgiveness. Anger is a normal emotion, but it’s also one that has no place in your kingdom; so please help me to turn this anger into something positive instead. Thank you for listening to my prayer today and helping me through this hard time by giving me strength from you—and from other people around me who love me—to cope with everything that comes my way!

Father, Your Word Says That There Is Healing In Your Wings.

Father, Your Word says that there is healing in Your wings.

I know it is true because I have heard your voice say this to me over and over again. I am confident that whatever pain or illness comes at me, You will give me the strength to overcome it if I call on your name through prayer.

We all need healing from time to time – even those who are not sick physically or emotionally need healing from heartbreak or loneliness too. You are a good Father and will listen when we cry out for help in times of trouble.

Lord, You Are A Mighty God.

  • God is a mighty God.
  • He is not a man that he should lie, nor the son of man that he should repent (Numbers 23:19).
  • All-powerful, all-knowing and all-present, God is able to do anything He pleases.
  • He can save you from anything and anyone who would dare try to harm you. If you need strength for battle or healing for your body, this is where it comes from: The power of the Lord, who delivers us from death (Psalm 107:20).

Prayers for healing are valuable resources for dealing with chaos and being able to cope with the difficult situations in life

Prayer is a way of communicating with a higher power. Prayer can help us get a handle on our emotions, and find the courage to move forward. Prayer is also an act of hope; when we pray, we recognize that there’s something bigger than ourselves in control of everything going on in our lives right now. And when we commit ourselves to prayer, it helps remind us that no matter what happens, there is always hope for healing, restoration and new life.

We have all heard stories about people who were healed through prayer or faith-healing; whether those stories hold up under scientific scrutiny or not isn’t important at this point (although if you’ve got an opinion on that topic you should definitely share it!). What’s important here is that by praying for healing from traumatic events like sexual assault or domestic abuse or any other trauma for which God has promised His presence with us throughout suffering (Hebrews 4:15), we can begin to see how He will bring healing into our lives if only we trust Him enough to rely on Him entirely instead of trying to do everything ourselves!
