30 Days of Prayer for Your Marriage

30 day prayer for husband30 days of understanding the bible

Day 1 O Heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus.

Prayer For My Husband

O Heavenly Father, I come to You now in the name of Jesus. Your Word says that if we ask anything according to Your will, it will be done for us (Matthew 7:7). Therefore, please bring my husband’s heart into agreement with Yours and give him a hunger for the things of the Lord. Fill him with Your Holy Spirit so that he may lead our family in a way that pleases You. Would you also give us both wisdom and discernment as we navigate each day? Please teach me how to pray for my husband with biblical revelation and insight from Your Word so that I can pray according to Your will; this is what we ask in Jesus’ name! Amen

Day 2 Thank You for my husband.

Today, you should thank God for your husband. If you want to really dig into this prayer, focus on one thing that he does that brings joy and contentment to your life.

This prayer can be as simple or as elaborate as you want it to be. It’s important that the language is genuine, so take some time to make sure it reflects how much you love him (and perhaps how much he frustrates or annoys). Don’t just say “thanks,” say why: “Thank You for my husband because…”

Day 3 Thank you for the love story that you have written for us. As far as the east is from the west so has your removed our transgressions from us!

Give thanks for the love story that you have written for us. As far as the east is from the west so has your removed our transgressions from us!

Day 4 Thank you Lord Jesus, that when we were weak and helpless you saved us by your amazing grace and mercy.

Thank you Lord Jesus, that when we were weak and helpless you saved us by your amazing grace and mercy.

Thank you for saving us from our sin through the sacrifice of yourself on the cross. Thank you for paying for everything that was wrong in our lives with your blood. Thank you for taking all of our shame upon yourself so that we could be free from it ourselves. Thank you for loving us so much, even though we didn’t deserve it at all! And thank YOU LORD JESUS FOR JUST BEING YOUR WONDERFUL SELF!!!

Day 5 Thank You Father God, that when we were lost, hopeless and broken-hearted You found us and comforted us.

  • Thank You Father God, that when we were lost, hopeless and broken-hearted You found us and comforted us.
  • Thank You Father God, that when our husbands were lost, hopeless and broken-hearted You found them too.
  • Thank You Father God for the love that you have for us.
  • Thank You Father God for the love that you have for our husbands

Day 6 Thank you Abba Father for giving my husband a new heart that is pure and clean before you.

Your husband is forgiven, cleansed and made a new creation. He has been given a new heart that is pure and clean before you. Thank you Abba Father for giving him this new heart!

What does it mean to be forgiven? It means that our sin debts have been paid in full by the blood of Christ. God loves us so much that He sent His son Jesus to die on the cross so we could be forgiven and set free from sin’s bondage (see 1 Peter 2:24-25).

So how does this affect your husband? When God forgives our sins through His Son, then it should also forgive other people who have sinned against you as well—including your spouse or children (1 John 2:12). Even if they were unkind or hurtful towards you, God still forgives them because of what Jesus did at Calvary! So don’t hold onto any grudges against those who have wronged you; instead let go of all anger and bitterness towards others because Jesus has already taken care of it all for us through His death on the cross!

Day 7 Father God I pray that my husband would have a heart after Your own heart.

“He who has a generous eye will be blessed, for he gives of his bread to the poor.” Proverbs 22:9 (NKJV)

Prayer is not just what we do when we feel like it. Prayer is not just something we do when we have time. Prayer isn’t even just something that should happen at church or in private—though both are good ways to pray! Prayer can be as simple as speaking words out loud while driving your kids to school, or praying silently while sitting in traffic on the way home from work. The key is being intentional about connecting with God, asking Him for His guidance and direction so that you can then share those things with others.

Day 8 Heavenly Father I pray that my husbands heart will be tender towards others and full of compassion toward his friends, family and neighbors.

  • Heavenly Father I pray that my husbands heart will be tender towards others and full of compassion toward his friends, family and neighbors.
  • Please help him to see the needs of others around him and give them a helping hand whenever they need it.
  • Help him to put others before himself without having any expectations in return.

Day 9 Holy Spirit show me any areas where I am not loving my husband unconditionally as Your word directs me to do so.

As you pray this prayer, remember that the Holy Spirit works in your husband’s heart every day. He is always teaching him from His Word and encouraging him to love you unconditionally as a reflection of God’s love for us.

I pray that You would reveal to my husband the depths of Your love for him. Show me where I am not loving my husband unconditionally as Your word directs me to do so. Give me a pure, clean heart, O Lord, so that my husband may be drawn to it as rivers of waters are drawn to an ocean of water!

Day 10 Heavenly Father I pray that my attitude towards my husband would be one of kindness and compassion because You are kind to each of us every single day.

Heavenly Father, I pray that my attitude towards my husband would be one of kindness and compassion because You are kind to each of us every single day. I thank You for the kindness and compassion that You show us in Jesus Christ; it makes a difference when we realize how much You love us.

I pray that my husband will be drawn closer to me because of my pure, clean heart; he needs to know that everything I do is for his benefit and not out of selfishness or anger. Your Word tells us in I Corinthians 13:4-5 “Love is patient, love is kind…”

This verse tells me that if I want to have an impact on my husband’s life then i must exercise patience with him by waiting patiently until he responds appropriately before correcting him so as not to hurt his feelings or make him feel guilty unnecessarily. This verse also tells me how important it is for me not only have patience but also have kindness (or gentleness) towards others even when they don’t deserve it because this helps keep relationships strong even during difficult times where tension may arise between family members.”

Day 11 Give me a pure, clean heart, O Lord, so that my husband may be drawn to it as rivers of waters are drawn to an ocean of water!

Give me a pure, clean heart, O Lord, so that my husband may be drawn to it as rivers of waters are drawn to an ocean of water! My soul is thirsty for Your presence and I long for his love. Lead him into the joyous secret place where we can be alone together like in the beginning when you created us in your image. Open up his eyes and lead him into the light that shines through my face each day when I am with you and seek your guidance at night while lying next to my husband. May he see how much I need him? Help me be patient with him today; help us communicate with each other honestly without any false expectations or assumptions on either side. Help us understand one another better than ever before so that we may grow closer together instead of drifting apart because we failed at communication!
